Đã có ít nhất 48 công trình về Trường sa trong Web of Knowledge

Hôm nay, nhân đọc ý kiến của một bác hiện là giáo sư tại một đại học ở Việt Nam, giải thích tại sao Việt Nam chưa có hay có rất ít công trình khoa học liên quan đến chủ quyền biển đảo của Việt Nam. Trong khi đó, nhóm hơn một trăm tri thức Việt thì đang miệt mài tố cáo TQ gian xảo tuyên truyền đường lưỡi bò phi pháp trong các ấn phẩm khoa học của họ trên các tạp chí quốc tế.

Tự nhiên tôi cảm thấy buồn nên tra thử trong Web of Knowledge, nơi thống kê và xếp hạng hàng ngàn tạp chí khoa học trên thế giới. Kết quả như sau:

• Khóa “Spratly” (Trường Sa), tôi thấy có 27 bài từ các nước Malaysia, Taiwan, USA, Australia, France, England, Philippines, và Canada.

• Khóa “Nansha (Spratly) Islands” có 1 bài của tác giả TQ trên tạp chí của TQ
• Khóa “Nansha Islands” có 20 bài: 19 bài từ TQ, 01 từ Đài Loan (khiếp quá! – Nansha tức Nam Sa là “sản phẩm” ngang ngược của TQ)

Chưa thấy bài nào từ Việt Nam. Đúng là buồn thật.

Tuy nhiên,  TS. Dương Danh Huy có cho biết thật ra cũng có công bố từ Việt Nam liên đến đường lưỡi bò phi pháp và tranh chấp biển Đông:

Tạp chí Ocean Development & International Law là một tạp chí ISI. Các tạp chí ISI thường có số lượng người đọc nhiều hơn.

Do tiêu đề  bài thứ 2 không nói trực tiếp “Spratly” nên không có trong các nhóm các bài tôi tìm, còn bài thứ 1 mới được nhận đăng nên đương nhiên chưa có trong Web of Knowledge. Tôi cho đây là điều đáng mừng, mặc dù như thế là còn quá khiêm tốn so với tiềm năng của Việt Nam.

Nếu các nhà khoa học Việt Nam gửi công bố của họ đến các tạp chí ISI thì sẽ có nhiều người quan tâm hơn. Tạp chí ISI được chia thành các nhóm như:

1. SCI: Science Citation Index
2. SCIE: Science Citation Index Expanded
3.  SSCI: Social Sciences Citation Index
4. AHCI: Arts and Humanities Citation Index

Tôi cho rằng nếu có nhiều công trình nghiên cứu liên quan đến chủ quyền biển đảo từ Việt Nam xuất hiện trên các tạp chí quốc tế uy tín thì sẽ rất thuận lợi cho Việt Nam trong việc khẳng định chủ quyền.

Hy vọng những người đang làm nghiên cứu về Lịch sử, Địa lý, Tài Nguyên-Môi Trường và Luật tại Việt Nam lưu tâm hơn về vấn đề này.
